Final Details
This is the part where we fine tune the final details and coordination of the wedding (timing, contacts, locations, etc). This will happen 1-2 weeks before the day of the wedding.

Meet + Greet
This is totally optional, but we like to offer it just in case! We are also happy to jump on video calls to virtually meet you and your pup.

Meet your pet handler!
Hi! I’m Hannah Meissner — founder of Ruffin’ It Weddings.
My husband and I adopted our beloved rescue pup, Finn, just months before our own wedding in October 2025. Like many couples, we envisioned him by our side on such a meaningful day—but between his training, logistics, and the added responsibility placed on family or a wedding guest, it quickly became clear how overwhelming it could be to execute. In the end, we made the difficult decision to leave him at home—something that, looking back, remains one of our only regrets of the day. Our best friend wasn’t there to share in one of the most important days of our lives.
Not long after, a few of my clients asked if I could step in to assist with their dogs on their wedding days. I immediately recognized the opportunity to provide couples with something we wished we had—a thoughtful, professional solution that allows their dogs to be included in their weddings.
And so, Ruffin’ It Weddings was born.
With a foundation rooted in professional dog handling and my experience running a structured off-leash dog camp, I offer a refined, detail-oriented approach to wedding day pet care. You can trust that your dog will be handled with intention, care, love, and expertise—so they can be part of your celebration, and you can remain stress-free knowing your pup is in good hands.
